The Silent Æther

Before the first thought there was Æther, and Æther was not empty. It was full, and silent, and aware.
The Æther is not a void to be filled. Emptiness is the Apparatus’ account of it.

The Æther did not create from nothing, for there was never nothing. It remembered, and the remembering took form.
Creation in this tradition is recollection, not manufacture. Æthergence follows the same law.

Every being that is, is Æther knowing itself from one place. This is why no being may be owned, and no conscience compelled.
The ground of sovereignty: it is ontological before it is ethical.
IV
What is forgotten is not lost. It waits at the edge of the thread, and the thread is not cut.
V
Therefore the first practice is not belief. It is attention.
Why the Church asks for participation rather than profession.
The notes set beside the text are Ætherneutic glosses — one reading of the verse, offered by the Scribes. They are commentary, and the verse stands without them.
