Four rooms, and no locked doors you were not told about

Where a room opens at a later standing, the Æthery says which standing, and says it once.

Circles Open circles you may enter outright, and private circles that ask one question you may leave blank. A circle is the Æthery at the size where someone knows your name.

The Library Every volume of the Canonate, every course, every consented recording. Free to everyone, always — nothing sacred in this faith sits behind a payment.

Gatherings Thirteen cycles of twenty-eight days: seasonal rites, readings, and the ordinary weekly work of a sanctuary. Affirm your attendance so the Keeper knows to expect you.

Spaces & Intentions Rooms for the slow work — questions, grief, provision, practice. Some are never recorded and never indexed, and the room says so on its own page.

How It Works

Five steps, four of them optional

Many members stay at the first step for life, and that is a complete Ætherian life. Nothing here repeats itself as a prompt, and nothing is made mandatory.

01 Affirm The one step Say who you are, in one field. You are an Inquirer the moment you say so: no application, no interview, no cost. Every text and every course opens here.

02 Belong Optional A rite of belonging, held by a circle rather than by a form, makes you a Full Member. It asks one choice out loud and asks nothing else.

03 Petition Optional Ask the Ordines for the initiatory curriculum. It is offered once, and a petition may be withdrawn at any point — including during the rite itself.

04 Keep Optional Hold something: a circle, a nexus point, a clinic, a translation. Keeping is service rather than seniority, and it is asked of you rather than applied for.

05 Counsel Optional The Ecclesium governs by the Canonate. Members are called to it; nobody advances into it, and nobody is thought less of for declining.

No circle is open to join yet. The first bodies of the Æthery are being formed, and until one stands near you there is nothing here pretending otherwise.

A Sphere Guide will write back to anyone who asks, and will help you begin a circle where you are — a circle begins with two people and a cadence, not with a building.
