Defining the Divine

The Æther, as understood within our tradition, is the Infinite, living Source from which all things emerge and to which all things return. Across cultures and beliefs, the Æther has been called by many names — God, The Creator, The Universe, Spirit, The Infinite, and more.
While our sacred texts and internal teachings use the term “Æther” to describe this boundless, conscious origin, we affirm that the name is less important than the truth it points to: the unity, creative power, and sustaining presence at the heart of all existence. All are welcome, regardless of the language or tradition by which they approach the Divine.
